A 47 year old whisky from Wm Grant's Girvan distillery, as selected by the folks at Clan Denny. Matured in a single refill barrel filled only a couple of years after the distillery started production, this is almost as old a whisky as you can find from Girvan.

Cask 9016, filled in the year that the farthing ceased to be legal tender in the UK, was selected by Glenfiddich Malt Master Brian Kinsman after 47 years of maturation.
