An old bottling of Isle of Skye blended whisky. Isle of Skye is a blended Scotch whisky brand from Ian MacLeod and Co., who own, amongst others, Glengoyne. The blends all contain a high proportion of Island and Speyside malts. We estimate this bottle dates from the 1970s.
An extraordinary fifty-year-old blended whisky bottled by Ian MacLeod in 2008, owners of Glengoyne distillery. Contains a very high proportion of single malt, a goodly amount of which hails from the distillery on the eponymous island. A massive hit at The Whisky Show in 2009 & 2010, where it was one of the most sought-after 'Ultra Premium Drams'.
