Penderyn Whisky

Sukhinder's been raving about this Penderyn, which has been matured in bourbon wood before finishing in ex-Madeira casks. Bottled at a slightly lower strength than the standard Penderyn Madeira Wood for even easier drinkability.

A general release of one of the experiments Penderyn have been doing, combining their unique spirit with different casks. This Port-finished Welsh single malt was originally bottled only for the French market, but thanks to its popularity it has now become a fixture in the distillery's standard range.

Penderyn is a Welsh whisky distilled once in a unique Faraday copper still with an added purifier and rectification column and finished in Madeira casks for extra smoothness. Launched in 2004, Penderyn has built on its early promise and really carved a niche for itself.
