This bottling was produced at Willowbank distillery and originally intended to be Lammerlaw single malt, the distillery closed in 2000 when the stills were sent to Fiji for rum production. The stocks were subsequently bought by The New Zealand Malt Whisky Company, who have released this delightful spicy and fruity expression.
A 21 year old New Zealand whisky distilled at Willowbank on the South Island. The bottle features a picture of the Water of Leith distillery, which became the site of Willowbank, which itself was also closed and has since been demolished.
A 26 year old cask strength whisky from New Zealand's closed Willowbank distillery. It's been bottled to commemorate the first rugby world cup, held in 1987 and won by the All Blacks, and named for the old referee's scrum commands - Crouch, Touch, Pause, Enjoy.
