Dumbarton grain distillery was part of a gigantic distilling complex built in Dumbarton in 1938 by the famous Canadian distillery company Hiram Walker, makers of Canadian Club, to provide filling for their newly-acquired Ballantine's blend. A rare bottling of 1959 vintage Dumbarton from independent bottler Cadenhead's, with the white label signifying it's a grain whisky. Distilled in February, it was aged for 25 years before being bottled in October 1984.
