An 81 proof (40.5%ABV) bourbon crafted by Wild Turkey associate distiller Eddie Russell, son of master distiller Jimmy. It's a high rye mash matured in heavily charred casks for big flavour at a more approachable ABV than the 101.
Blended from barrels of 6-12 year-old bourbon and bottled at barrel proof with no added water, Rare Breed has a rich, yet mellow flavour despite its high alcohol content. IWSC 2012 - Gold Outstanding Medal - Whiskey - USA
Long-aged bourbon, with a massive palate, yet still deceptively smooth. Named after the company's long-serving Master Distiller, Jimmy Russell. Whisky Bible 2010: Bourbon of the Year (10-12 Years); 94 Points
Wild Turkey Forgiven is a blend of 78% 6 year old bourbon and 22% 4 year old rye whiskies. Apparently initially produced due to a mix-up at the distillery, the result was so good they decided to release it.
Please note this is limited to one bottle per customer.
An old bottling of Wild Turkey at 43.4%. It's rare to see the brand bottled at less than their standard '101 proof' (50.5%). We estimate this bottle dates from the 1980s and was released for the UK market, being imported by Atkinson Baldwin.
A very desirable early 1990s Wild Turkey in extremely fancy packaging, this long-aged bourbon from one of Kentucky's finest distillers has been hand-selected by Master Distiller Jimmy Russell himself and comes in rather arresting wood packaging.
