This Rosé brut from the highly-regarded Jacquart Champagne house is simply superb, with fresh cherry and berry fruit flavours on a zingy-fresh palate.

Cellar-aged for over five years, Jacquart Extra Brut is a delicate blend of wines selected for their fineness, balanced acidity and good ageing potential. Only a very small amount of sugar is added to the dosage, giving a cuvee of complexity, elegance and very pure aromas and flavours with nothing to mask them. Dry and very refresing and lively - a sophisticated aperitif.

A great champagne for an incredibly reasonable price. The 2004 vintage will happily age, adding more toasty flavours as it does so, but should also be good to drink now.
