A blend of rums from five distilleries, each aged between three and twelve years then filtered to remove the colour. The rums are from Trinidad, Jamaica, Barbados and Guyana, with the intriguing addition of some Batavia Arrack from Java. As you'd expect, this is a big, characterful rum that sits well in a posh daiquiri.
23 different rums, from 7 different countries (Trinidad, Jamaica, Guyana, Barbados, Java, Panama and Guatemala), have been blended together under the watchful eye of Masterblender Arnaud de Trabuc. Banks 7 is named in tribute to the 7 unique styles of rum used to create this stunning drink.
A very special limited edition rum from Banks, named for the ship in which Sir Joseph Banks, who the company is named after, sailed to the South Pacific with Captain James Cook - HMS Endeavour. It is a blend of five 1996 vintage Guyanan rums, aged in American oak for 16 years and bottled in 2011, presented in an engraved, cork stoppered decanter.
