A sister brand to Opal Nera, made with the same ingredients and a very high quality sugar beet alcohol that gives the liqueur its sweet, velvety texture.
The original black sambuca, Opal Nera gets its colour from the skins of the elderberries used in production. Other ingredients include lemon, aniseed and star anise.
A cherry liqueur from the Opal, more famous for their sambucas than fruity drinks. True to form this does include a hint of anise, and they recommend it is served mixed with your 'favourite energy drink'.
