Based in the east of Friuli, Tosolini was established shortly after world War 11 by Bepi Tosolini, initially as a grappa producer. He was particularly keen to improve the quality of grappa available, which until then was considered a rough, cheap spirit drunk by local peasants. He was very successful and Bepi’s products are now world-famous.
