A super-luxury Courvoisier, L'Essence is blended from over 100 ancient eaux-de-vies from Grande Champagne and Borderies and is presented in a Baccarat teardrop decanter suspended in a frame complete with a finely crafted crystal stopper, inspired by the signet rings given by Napoleon Bonaparte to commanders in his army in recognition of noble acts.
Part of a set of limited edition Courvoisier bottlings designed by the leading Art Deco artist Erte, who sadly died shortly after the first edition was released. Some of the eaux-de-vie used date back to 1892, the year of the artist's birth. These bottles are highly sought-after by collectors
