Vineyard owners Justin Denis and Henry Mounié started selling cognac in 1838 under the name Denis-Mounie. The company was dissolved towards the end of the 20th century, having been owned at one time by Hine, Dom Benedictine and Hennessy - quite an accolade. This bottle contains a 1914 vintage cognac, released in the 1930s.
An 1893 vintage cognac from Denis Mounié, a producer founded when Justin Denis and Henri Mounié joined forces and merged their vineyards in 1838. The spirit is packaged in a solid crystal decanter made by Baccarat.
