Glenfiddich Single Malt Whisky

The 2010 release of Glenfiddich 30 year-old has a very classy new look, with a dumpier bottle and a handsome wooden box. Malt fans will also be very pleased that the bottling strength of this marriage of Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks has risen to 43% as well.

A special edition of Glenfiddich released in 1987 to celebrate the distillery's centenary - the first run of spirit was on Christmas day 1887.

Seductively woody, with substantial oakiness and lush notes of sherry, Glenfiddich 30yo is an evening whisky, with sweet floral top notes and a long honeyed finish. This is the last edition of Glenfiddich 30yo before its 2010 relaunch, and it celebrates the 40th anniversary of the opening of the distillery's visitor centre in 1969.

A small release of 1974 vintage Glenfiddich, selected by Malt Master Brian Kinsman, Global Brand Ambassador Ian Millar, Hans-Henrik Hansen, owner of the world's largest Glenfiddich collection, and the 13 local brand ambassadors from around the world. Unlike previous Rare Collection releases it's a vatting of a few casks to give more people a chance to get their hands on a bottle, although with only 1000 available it's still a rare treat.

A 35 year old whisky from Cadenhead's, presented in their gloriously blingy gold livery. This was distilled in 1965 and bottled in February 2001.

A single cask bottling of Glenfiddich whisky from 1972. This has been matured for 32 years and bottled at cask strength as part of the vintage reserve series.

It's very rare to see an independently-bottled Glenfiddich - even more so when it's a Cadenhead's bottling from the late 1980s (and still carries the 'Glenlivet' suffix on the bottle!).
