The third cask bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky from Mannochmore distillery in Speyside. This was distilled in March 1990 and bottled 9 years later in May 1999. The distillery is situated within the same complex as Glenlossie and is known for predominantly producing a light grassy style of malt.
This heavily-sherried Mannochmore 1990 was one of Tim F's favourite drams from 2009's Special Releases. A belter from a previously undistinguished distillery - we'd like to see much more of this sort of thing.
