In an unusual move, Bollinger have released their 2000 vintage R.D. in jeroboam size only. With a cépage of 63% Pinot Nor and 37% Chardonnay, this R.D. (or récemment dégorgé), this sat on its lees for almost 12 years before being disgorged on 7/7/2012, as a hommage to James Bond. Rich and yeasty, this should be served at no less than 12 degrees Celcius.

Big, blingy and often unfairly overlooked due to the presentation, as the bottle contains an excellent champagne.
(£2,000.00 ex. VAT)

A great vintage release from DP in an enormous, eye-catching 6 litre bottle. While drinking very well now, this 1998 remains comparatively youthful, and will continue to develop and improve with a few years cellaring.

600cl / 12%
A huge methusaleh (6 litres) of Louis Roederer's top of the range Cristal champagne. 2002 was an excellent year for champagne, with Berry Brothers claiming it to be the greatest vintage since 1990, and this bottle is big enough for everyone to have a taste.

To celebrate the exceptional 2002 champagne vintage, Louis Roederer have commissioned Philippe Di Méo to dress 400 of their jeroboams in a protective 24 carat gold cover, named 'Flacon Médaillon'. Created by hand, each bottle took 14 people 4 days to produce, including 2 master goldsmiths, and uses 70 metres of brass ribbon dipped in gold. A stunning look for a sensational champagne.
