Tequila is generally aged in oak barrels previously used to mature bourbon, which means they are already 'seasoned'. Reposado tequila (meaning 'rested') is aged between 2-11 months. This ageing period sees the barrel contributing flavours such as vanilla and creme caramel to Tequila's earthy, spicy, herbaceous, vegetal character.

A 100% agave reposado tequila from Tierra de Agaves, Lunazul is part-owned by Heaven Hill Dsitilleries. The brand has a marketing riff based on the 'spirit of the wolf', but we won't hold that against them.
