A collaborative whiskey from High West, taking spirit from the USA and Scotland to produce a one-of-a-kind bottling. It's a blend of straight bourbon and rye, with high corn and rye mashbills respectively, with a peaty Scottish single malt. A fantastic combination of sweet corn, floral rye and smoky Scotch.
Corsair Rasputin Malt comes from the artisan distillers based in Kentucky and Tennessee. This hopped whiskey is made by distilling Imperial stout and passing it through hops to add spicy and floral notes to the chocolate flavour of the stout. A complex hopped whiskey.
Bernheim Original is made by Heaven Hill and is the only straight wheat American whiskey available. A winner of the Gold 'Editor's Choice Award' from Whisky Magazine, Bernheim is 51% winter wheat, 39% corn and 10% barley malt. A soft, mellow, fruity palate with gentle vanilla notes. World Whiskies Awards 2012 - Best Non-Bourbon No Age Statement
A smokey whisky with a difference. Firstly it's made in Texas by Balcones and secondly the smoke comes from a secret process involving Texas Scrub Oak. This is not smoky whisky like you've had before - a mix of campfires, fruit and youthful corn.
*This whisky is produced in small batches, which change frequently. We cannot guarantee which batch will be shipped*
The 2010 edition of Woodford Reserve's highly-sought-after Masters Collection limited batch is the fruit of an experiment with Maple Wood finishing. We're looking forward to this and congratulations to Woodford for continuing to push the envelope.
The fourth in Woodford Reserve's Masters Collection, Seasoned Oak Finish has been finished in barrels that have been seasoned (ie left outside) for three to five years (rather than the usual three to five months). This process of seasoning changes the wood by reducing tannins and ultimately creates a new range of flavour compounds, and the resulting whisky is proclaimed by Woodford to be their 'most robust whiskey yet'.
A great idea from the folks at Wasmund's - a 2 litre new charred oak cask, two 70cl bottles of their single malt spirit and the challenge of maturing your own 'whisky'. It'll pick up flavour quickly in a barrel this small so it's perfect for experimentation.
A 'mature your own' kit from the experimenters at Wasmund's. A new charred 2 litre American white oak barrel and two 70cl bottles of their rye spirit to fill it with. The barrel's reuseable (and we recommend that you do) and is perfect for a bit of wood aging for any spirit you want to play with.
