Mellow Corn is a high-proof gold-coloured American corn whisky aged for two years before bottling. As a corn whiskey, the mashbill is a minimum of 81% corn, with the remainder being a combination of malted barley and rye.
Rock Town is Arkansas' first legal distillery since prohibition. Their Hickory Smoked Whiskey is produced from Arkansas Soft Red Winter Wheat. The wheat is cold smoked in hickory smokers, to infuse the flavour of the hickory into the grain, which is noticeable on the new make spirit, which is then aged in ex-bourbon casks.
A corn whiskey from Montana's Roughstock that's a bit different from the others. Made using a sweet yellow corn mash, fermented in their Oregon fir tanks and distilled in copper pot stills before mellowing for a few weeks and bottling.
A very interesting whisky, the first to be legally distilled in Texas, made from blue corn (not sure what that is, but it sounds impressive) and, remarkably, being the recipient of a Double Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Definitely one to watch.
Please note this is limited to 1 bottle per customer.
A unique whisky from rising star of the US distilling movement, Balcones. It's a corn whisky made in Waco, Texas using atole, a roasted blue corn meal packed full of nuttiness that comes through into the whisky.
A smokey whisky with a difference. Firstly it's made in Texas by Balcones and secondly the smoke comes from a secret process involving Texas Scrub Oak. This is not smoky whisky like you've had before - a mix of campfires, fruit and youthful corn.
