Distilled at Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, this is a great example of combining their weighty spirit with active sherry cask maturation. Dark and fruity, with heavy notes of chocolate, plums and leathery spice, this is a flavour bomb that will keep any sherried whisky fan happy.
Classic Clynelish from the Single Malts of Scotland - waxy, fruity and gently coastal. There have been some excellent bottlings from the mid-1990s from this distillery and this is up with the best of them.
An intriguing Single Malts of Scotland bottling of whisky from Glen Grant. While the distillery isn't known for smokiness, there's a distinct whiff of wood smoke sitting in the background of this fruity 22 year old.
Sherried Longmorn can be a thing of beauty, and this is definitely one of those - 21 years of maturation in a sherry hogshead has created an excellent whisky. Dark and fruity, with butter and spicy notes, this is a fantastic example of well-aged Longmorn.
