A very, very rare Ardbeg 1973 for Douglas Laing's Platinum Selection - just 78 (!) bottles were yielded from the cask. Very elegant and unusual, with threads of Edinburgh rock, clove, cherry and a faint menthol woven through a distinct but not over-powering oak influence.
