I was very surpirsed how good this was.Was expecting it be very youthful etc but it has amazing depth and i would easily have thought it a 12 year old in a blind tasting. But when you Mitchels of Spring Bank pushing the bottons at Glengyle we shouldnt be surprised.Just a further note, wouldnt it interesting to taste a Benwyvis for comparison to see what taste influence there is from the old stills on the new Kilkerran. Excellent dram at just 5 years! Superb nose, solid mid and very long finish. Served it at a tasting of 15 malts and it rated amongst the best... buy 2 bottles, 1 for now and 1 when the US financial markets recover (hold forever). Posted By: Hal B. Meyer
