Basil Hayden's

Basil Hayden's is part of Jim Beam's 'Small Batch' bourbon range, along with Booker's, Baker's and Knob Creek. The mashbill for Basil Hayden's contains around 30% rye - twice as much as any of the other bourbons in the range. This gives the bourbon a rich, peppery flavour, but this is never overpowering - at 40% abv, this is the lightest bourbon in the Small Batch series.
