The original single-barrel bourbon, first introduced in 1984, and winner of a Gold medal at the International Wine & Spirits Competition every year from 1999 - 2004.
This is real artisan single barrel whiskey. Smooth as you'd expect from a bourbon but fantastically woody and flavoursome. Some bourbons can rightly be accused of being one dimensional but not this! The stuff whiskey legends are made of.

Wow.. amazing service (as ever!) and what an amazing drink! Having sampled many a Single malt, bourbon and all the regular brands on offer in mainstream UK stores - this just about knocks everything out of the field. The instant, simmering heat on your lips completely hides the subtle, yet full spread of flavours that will engulf your taste-buds immediately after... just.. wow!

This is a bourbon with plenty to offer. Woody scents on the noseIt has a slightly spiritous burn to it but is, nonetheless, very easy to drink, offering hints of vanilla, candied fruit and chocolate as well as a long, spiced finish. For my money, not quite as good as Woodford Reserve, but close.

Tried this upon recommendation and was stunned at how immensely flavor-packed this bourbon is. Slightly hotter than the 12-yeaar Van Winkle Special Reserve, but still dangerously smooth and equally delicious.
