Unbelievably beautiful. An explosion of sublime sweetness followed by a big alcohol kick, then quickly tapering off to reveal toffee, coconut, almonds and honey - all within a lovely mouth-coating oiliness. So glad I bought this - simply stunning.

We did a side by side with Pappy's 20YO and Gold won, hands down. This is THE best bourbon I have had, and I have had most of them. If you can find it, buy it.

this is truly miracle bourbon. the usual mouth wrenching complexity one would expect from buffalo trace. o yes the vanilla is just so fine. solid rye which lends a real fruity kick, and a balance near perfection. along with w/t american spirit this is the finest bourbon i have had the privilege of enjoying around the camp fire.
