As a resident of the great Commonwealth of Kentucky, I join in the annual pilgrimage to Liquor Barn (HUGE liquor store chain) each evening in early October to see if the Stagg has come in yet. This year's (2010) batch is in the bottle at an amazing 143 proof and should sell for around $75 USD here in Kentucky. Worth every penny!
Good lord. Just stunning. Deep, chocolate, mouth-filling goodness with flavours that just seem to keep going and going. And add a few drops of water and it goes to a whole new level. Eat beans on toast for a month and treat yourself. Exceptional stuff.
one of my top 3 whisky experiences of all time. collossal flavour, a scent that tingles the tastebuds and spine on every nosing. the flavour is rich deep and long lasting with thick bourbon flavours and staggering complexity. u owe it to yourself to own this if u ae a fan of all things whisky.
