For items in the same price range as the Glendronach 15yo (although with a higher ABV) the Aberlour A'bunadh and the Glenfarclas 105 are very good whiskies that are also quite sherried. We would advise that these would have a bit more of a spice taste to them, but they do taste of figs and dates as well.

Having a sweet tooth means I always favour bourbon, but I really did enjoy this scotch. The heavenly taste of figs, dates and other dark fruits is just how I like it. Will buy the 70cl bottle when I do my next online shop.
P.S. As I love the overwhelming fruity taste of figs & dates in my spirit, would any whisky experts from TWE reading this fancy recommending other scotch or bourbon that has simula notes?
