An outstanding single barrel bourbon from Four Roses. Beautifully balanced and smooth as silk, this is sweet, rich and potent with very appealing menthol notes, precious woods and delicious spices.

I hated bourbon until I tried this.

Gorgeous! Think tropical fruits and tonnes of spice. As said below it is too good really to go in cocktails..having said that I just had one last double shot left in my bottle and ended up using it for the base of a Bourbon Stone Sour. Wow! Four Roses flavour profile perfect bourbon for this coctail!....but I'd not want to do it too often with this one. Maybe there lower priced range would be worth keeping in mind for that.

Like it says above. This is an outstanding bourbon with loads of strong fruity flavours that my noob palate is still trying to work out. Don't you dare add coke to it or put it in a cocktail, just sit back and enjoy it neat one little sip at a time - which is the ONLY way to appreciate a bourbon as good as this one.

I can only agree with Dave here. Dangerously good for that money!

Wow! Stunning bourbon this.. Not only is this smooth but has a wonderful almost tropical nutty flavour elegance in the taste that no other bourbon has. Brilliant!

I would add that the 50% rating is probably a minimum. I've got a bottle in the cupboard marked at 55% - clearly it varies from barrel to barrel (along with the taste). Different vendors/distributors choose their favourites, so buy it from a source you trust!

This is a brilliant bourbon; rich and complex but smooth with a great finish. Tried it head-to-head with Woodford Reserve, Knob Creek and Maker's Mark and it bested the lot of them.

to my mind this is the best value-for-money single barrel bourbon on the market. For a 50?v product this is surprisingly smooth and mellow bourbon, packed full of character with a lingering finish that leaves yu wanting more... and all for £35.95, what a bargain!
