A really tremendous new gin made, unusually, by a whisky producer - Caorunn (pronounced 'ka-roon') hails from Balmenach distillery in Speyside and is flavoured with Scottish botanicals including rowan berry, heather, dandelion and coul blush apple.
Was recommended by a lovely lass in the Whisky Exchange - I have toasted her health through the whole of the bottle - the most delightful gin in the world - and yes a stunning summer tipple with a slice of red apple.
A must try before you die !

Bought this as a gift and got really great feedback. Apparently lovely with apple. I'm not a gin fan but this was a really nice present to give and a bit more special than the norm.

An interesting if very subtle gin, unique botanicals doesn't make for a particularly unique flavour profile. recommend drinking this over ice or in a cocktail a bit too subtle for a G&T as you basically need to mix it 50:50 for the flavours of this gin to come through. 76/100

Wonderful, wonderful gin. The best I've ever tasted, very smooth with no harshness at all.
