Formerly only available at the distillery, this Glen Grant Cellar Reserve 1992 has been introduced by new owners Campari and is being acclaimed as a major step forward. Whisky Bible 2010: Best Single Malt (16-21 Years) ; 94.5 Points
Really nice, more complex than standard Glen Grant. Malty and sweet, with citrus, fruity and floral notes. Really fresh. But it lacked of a bit of finish for me.

This is a friday (or saturday) night dram. Take back and relax, this stuff needs time. A very tempting nose with deep malty, nutty and floral tones. A good mouth feeling and nice, long, dry malty finish. A very complex and rich malt indeed, but needs time to open up.
