A colourful new limited Arran 1996, assembled from twenty casks and smartly packaged with a portrait of the eponymous peacock, who is apparently a frequent guest at the distillery on the island. This is apparently the first in an ongoing series called 'Icons of Arran Distillery'.

Arran is delivering on its promises - the use of sherry cask Arran in Peacock balances beautifully and this is lovely stuff! Posted By: P

They are based at Lochranza on the Isle of Arran, one of the most beautiful and famous in Scotland which lies off the West Coast between Ayrshire and Kintyre. The company was set up by Harold Currie, who was previously Managing Director of Chivas (Seagrams) and House of Campbell (Pernod Ricard).
