The VCP Rose is a consistently brilliant champagne. Always well balanced but with plenty of power coming from the pinot noir. The 2004 serving is a well drinking early vintage but will of course reward further cellaring. Unlike many rose champagnes, this works equally well with food (most shellfish) as well as an aperitif. In short, the VCP rose makes many champagnes at twice the price seem very ordinary!

This is an absolutely brilliant champagne! The only downside is that you may never go back to anything else, champagne wise. That's my own experience.
