was lucky enough to be recommended a bottle while in St. Andrews golfing with my dad May '10. We liked it so much we bought a second bottle. Wish I had more.

Nose: Subtle, grassy field with floral notes, spring time smell Palate: Spice wonderful spice with light sweetness. A spicy butterscotch perhaps? Suprisngly complex. A wave of smoke follows the sweet for a lovely transition. Flavor lost in the sherried versions in my opinion. Finish: Medium to long, a lightly smoked spice. Burnt sugar with some floral notes returning. Impression: Very nice, best Macallan I have had to date. Both pleasant and full of character.
