A young malt spirit from the new Chichibu distillery, owned and operated by Ichiro Akuto, whose family owned the old Hanyu distillery. This is some of the first spirit from Chichibu, distilled in the spring of 2008 and matured for a year in bourbon barrels before a four month finishing in new American oak hogsheads.
