Jack Daniel's Silver Select

My wife brought me a bottle of silver select for a birthday surprise, and what a wonderful surprise. Silver select is by far the top drink in the Jack Daniel's range and so smooth. Like other people have said before me for god's sake don't spoil it with a mixer, sit back and enjoy the taste as it should be tasted.

JD SS is a little bit unbalanced in my opinion. The oaky side of it tends to overshadow other flavours making it a bit too bitter and tannic... There is also a lot of sweet and the usual maple syrup notes to it but the barrel tends to make sipping a little bit less enjoyable. I would still receommend it and the presentation is excellent!

Silver Select is THE best I have ever tasted. Don't wait for that special day, life is too short enjoy the best every time ..;)

In a word 'awesome'. Got a bottle from my girlfriend for Christmas 4 years ago and have saved one last measure for the morning of the wedding. Last drink as a single man.

Not usually a JD drinker but I got a bottle bought for me from my sister. A wonderful drink with a beautiful kick,just bought my second bottle and I'm sure It won't be my last Adam uk

My brother travels to Africa for work. He knows I am a Jack man and introduced me to the Silver Select. In all my years of drinking Jack for my choice of bourbon, I have never tasted such a smooth straight to the distinct flavor that I have loved for soo many years. Little to my surprise, my brother reached under his bar and pulled out an unopened bottle for my Birthday present. Love it, thanks Big Brother!!

I have had my bottle of silver select since Nov 2003 9 years,just cracked it open fantastic love it no coke just straight.

Very good whiskey which I've tasted twice. However I'm under the impression that the "simple" Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is a better choice.

Fell in love with this stuff with first sip in 1996 when friend brought back from o'seas. no other bourbon or scotch (my opinion)comes close for the combination of big, smooth and sexy. nearly fainted when i saw it last week, available now, only duty free in sydney. long overdue :)

By far the best jack daniels money can buy. I have one opened and four boxed and sealed. If you like jacks you owe it to yourself to try this.

Im sitting on five bottles of this stuff in my cupboard, i buy 2 bottles everytime i go away. The first bottle never lasts long but the 2nd is always put away for when i stop travelling. You need back up because its a SAD day when your bottle is empty.

We bought a bottle at Haifa Duty Free and my husband and son have just had their first sip they agree definitely the king of Jack Daniels

I've drank several bottles of this over the last 2 years....i have 3 in the cupboard and collecting more to keep....this is the best in the JD range - over and above the Gold Medal range which does not compare.....

Select this It's worth many talons of Silver. It's an amazing drink Perhaps with a touch of cold chilled water. I like to sip it as it comes from the bottle Far superior to JD's other whuskies. G/Jack is good but not a patch on this. Simply JD's very best offering. Not for mixing unless you are nuts.
