Pernod Absinthe (Tarragona ) / Bot.1950s
100cl / 68%
A very rare bottle of Pernod absinthe, made not in France but in Tarragona in Spain, where the company established a distillery following the fire that destroyed their Pontarlier plant in 1901. The Tarragona distillery was in production until the late 1960s.

If you read it closely it doesn't actually say that production stopped in 1901. But I can see how you might have gotten confused, it could have been worded more clearly. Incidentally, 1912 is 11 years later than 1901, not 10 as you state. And Pernod were still producing Absinthe in France in 1913: http://www.finestandrarest.com/images/Pernod-1913-Label.jpg

Pernod moved production to Spain in 1912 - and it wasn't because the plant went on fire and production stopped 10 years later as you state.
