A range of unusual liqueurs developed by Gabriel Boudier for use in the 3-Michelin-starred restaurants run by the Bernard Loiseau group. This version has combined sloe and elderberry which sounds superb.
Blood red colour with crimson hints. Clear almond notes dominate initially, from the stones of the fruits which are macerated whole, before the sweeter flavours of the flesh of the fruit take over. There are notes of candied fruit, almond, peach and apricot. Very subtle flavours with long berry finish.
