Managed to get hold of a dram of this beautiful stuff. Far better than the similar priced 18 year old, many more layers and flavours. Surprisingly easy to drink despite being 54% proof. Shame it has sold out. One of the best laphroaigs.

it sure is yummy.nose:extremely light and fresh, limes,almond,touch of mint,peat and medicinal,nothing like i expected.palate:poles apart from the nose, the peaty and medicinal qualites come bursting through immediately,big but not overpowering,lovely suprise,amazing.finish:long,dry,peaty
