Aroma
Rye bread, rye bread dough and cedarwood with light varnish note and pleasing rye black pepper and cinnamon spice.
Taste
Faint oily mouth feel with distinct rye notes extending with creamy vanilla, gingerbread and chocolatey notes.
Aftertaste
Long nutty bready rye with lingering nutmeg and cinnamon spice.

This is one of my all time favourites.similar to makers mark but much lighter in taste and tone
Had the pleasure of experiencing this rye whilst trying to make the ultimate Manhattan. For the money (cheap as) it's a beauty! Proper whiskey-dry, no sharpness in the throat (unlike many bourbons of the same price), perfumed almost heady on the nose. You really do want to smell it as much as drink it. And the Manhattan's..? Well, shaken over ice with a splash of Antica Formula Vermouth, a maraschino cherry & the tiniest drop of Boker's Bitters...Wow! Recommended.
