A sloe gin from the Hayman family, a long standing English distilling dynasty, made to their secret family recipe. The only part we know is that wild English sloe berries are stepped in Hayman's gin for months before being blended with natural sugars.
I brought a bottle of this gin for a trip up to st. Andrews. Really, really good lots of flavour and not out of the way on price. This in my opinion is the best store brought sloe I have tried. Beats Gordons and Plymouth and can give some home made concoctions a run for their money.5 stars
