Tasting notes by Class Magazine
Appearance: Clear, pale golden hue.
Aroma: Pungent, superbly clean orange zest with faint warm current buns. More jammy when compared to the original first batch but still with good zestyness.
Taste: Slight honeyed sweetness, rich orange zest and bitter marmalade with cracked black pepper spirity notes. When compared to our original first batch sample Chase Marmalade seems more integrated and arguably balanced but with less zestyness.
Aftertaste: Lingering bitter orange zest and cracked black pepper. A slight sweetness amplifies the orange flavour but is that a bad thing?
