One of the best young ARDBEG ever! Spectacular, young & dangerous...

It's on the way to my home. The anticipation is killing me. I've set aside the perfect Cuban to accompany the first tasting. May as well make an evening of it. Review to follow when it arrives.

I tried this today and it's absolutely divine and out of this world. The finish reminded me of pop rock candy- it kind of crackles a bit on your tongue. By far the best I've ever had.

I have had the privilege of sampling many great whiskies... this is top 5 - bold, brazen and superb - epic stuff.

I love this one, even that i havent tried the 2009 Supernova. You who have tried it, how is the peat in the 2009 compared to this one ?

I've heard good things about this, but I think I'll have to wait with the order a while. Ordered the Triple Wood Laphroaig today, maybe this will be something for Christmas.

I just got 2 bottles of the Supernova 2010 today: The smell is out of this world...I cannot wait to try this bad beast that I have heard sooo much about!
- Daniel, 22nd Jul '10
just tried it and all i can say is wow. upon first nosing, the peat does not seem much different from that of the 10 yr. however after tasting, the peat explodes in a sea of complex, earthy flavors accompanied with a nice peppery bite. the finish is long and very strong. my mouth felt numb for a few minutes. this is a must for us, the true peatheads!
