Woodford Reserve Masters / Seasoned Oak Finish

The fourth in Woodford Reserve's Masters Collection, Seasoned Oak Finish has been finished in barrels that have been seasoned (ie left outside) for three to five years (rather than the usual three to five months). This process of seasoning changes the wood by reducing tannins and ultimately creates a new range of flavour compounds, and the resulting whisky is proclaimed by Woodford to be their 'most robust whiskey yet'.
