Only a very small amount of sugar is added to the dosage, giving a cuvee of complexity, elegance and very pure aromas and flavours with nothing to mask them. Dry and very refresing and lively - a sophisticated aperitif.

Appearance
Pale, straw golden yellow with small persistent bubbles.

Aroma
Honeyed toasty nose with shortcrust pasty and lemoncurd citrus.

Taste
Dry palate (as billed) but with honeyed notes balancing bracing acidity and chalky minerality with lemony citrus.

Aftertaste
Long but subtle finish with lingering minerality and faint pistachio.

Producer's Tasting Notes
Brilliant golden-yellow colour.  Very fine, lively bubbles forming a persistent mousse.  Elegant, floral nose with hints of citrus fruit, white peaches and pears.  On the palate, refreshing and lively but with no hint of harshness. Lots of well-defined fruit, with notes of freshly baked bread and a long, elegant finish.
