Nose: very pure fresh cut ginger initially,  then some faint marzipan and dark gingerbread; later, more candied ginger aromas and creamy vanilla ice cream, with faint notes of apple, dessicated coconut and perfumey fresh flowers.

Palate:  Medium-weight. Sweet and mouthcoating, but never heavy or sickly, and with pervasive honeyed ginger & vanilla notes lightened by flashes of intense, clean, fresh raw ginger character.

Finish:  Decent length and remains sweet with ginger snap flavours.

Comment:  An extremely well-balanced liqueur, with rewarding intensity of flavour while still elegant and fresh on the palate.  Very moreish.
