Had a taste of this and felt kind of dissapointed. Well, the amarone cask did its work, but whiskey is not something you can call impressive. It is OK, but nothing special as it lacks character and the taste is much unbalanced.
Really big and fruity nose. Palate is drier than nose suggest. Bold and entertaining.
Really nice and unique taste. Honestly, I think this is the only Arran whisky I've ever had, so I can't compare it to their others, but this is a fine tasting whisky.
Fantastic taste and price
A wonderful, smooth, drinking dram with complex flavors that will not disappoint. I will be picking up a 2nd bottle of this one and look forward to trying more from the Aaran distillery.
