Nose
Dark mint chocolate, tangerines and Seville oranges mingle with sandalwood and walnut before giving way to a spicy finish of pepper and nutmeg.
Palate
Mint chocolate and walnuts envelop the palate like velvet, laying the foundations for rose, Turkish delight and sweet Seville oranges.
Finish
Long-lasting silky aftertaste leaving dark chocolate mints and traces of orange.

An excellent scotch. Leave it breathe a good 10 minutes and you’ll sniff more of the chocolate. Sorry that Glenmorangie is halting production of the 12- year Quinta Ruban and replacing it with a 14-year version. Although I haven’t yet tried the 14, reviews I’ve seen all favor the 12 (unless there’s a Glenmorangie rep sitting in).
As expected, it did warm the cockles of my heart, but it's a little bit too sweet for my tastes.
Possibly their best release, certainly of a 12 It has a lovely spicy flavour.
Good taste for the most part. However, I found it really thin.
Held a little whisky tasting session as you do at Christmas. Glenmorangie lassanta, nect dor, sherry cask and Quinta Rubin. Everyone loved the Quinta Rubin and commented on how smooth it was. Big thumbs up from everyone.
