Glenfarclas 1978 / Family Casks III / Cask

The third edition of Glenfarclas 1978 is, unusually, from a plain hogshead - you might notice the colour is rather less auburn than usual. This, then, will lack the normal overt sherried qualities normally associated with this distillery, and has been described by brand ambasasdor George Grant as a floral whisky, 'almost like camomile tea.'
