Vesper is a special cuvee from Delamain, with the cognacs used all coming from the Grande Champagne area and having an average age of around 35 years old. After assemblage, the blend is returned to oak casks for a further two years to marry. A dense, rich cognac showing plenty of leather & tobacco flavours.
Just tried this against the Hennessy XO. Latter is more powerful, intense and 'masculine'. The Vesper is a trifle more 'accessible' and has a little more toffee and fruit to it. This is a stupendous cognac, utterly gorgeous. Astonishingly even my beautiful wife has developed a taste for it (only after a little tuition as how to properly drink fine cognac). A wonderful product.

Having previously been a Courvoisier fan (15 years), I discovered Vesper by chance and now purchase just two bottles per year and will not purchase any other cognac. This is special...

Excellent Brandy. Superior to Martell and Hennessy.
What's more it leaves a completely clear head in the morning!

Even better than Pale and Dry, and a good comparable Cognac to Hine Antique, and Paul Beau Borderies ( before the price went up)
