From the not-previously-known-for-its-whiskey state of Utah comes this remarkable rye whiskey, aged for 21 years in previously-used barrels (meaning it can't be called 'straight' rye). This looks fantastic.

Nose: Sweet raisins and dates. Spicy cinnamon rolls. Vanilla apple tart. Old tobacco leaves. Palate: Spicy nut mix. Capers. Coconut pie. Butter cream icing. Shoe leather. Cinnamon. Finish: Long and smooth. More stinging cinnamon. Fresh caramelized pecans fades to soft oak. Comments: This is what rye whiskey is supposed to be. Brilliant!
