Nose: floral with oak backdrop, Palate: smooth fruit, no bitterness, a very oaky spice with a perfect marriage to the the sherry, drying, must have been a tremendous cask, Finish: medium to long, sherried if not stewed fruit continued, compote, slight dark chocolate which increases the longer its in the glass, Impression: one of the best expressions from one of my favorite distilleries, smooth, perfect sherried speyside
